Marilyn T.: Vancouver Island artist Marilyn Timms has achieved great things with her stunning watercolour paintings - many done en plein air (outdoors). Turning away from painting works that are simply descriptive, Timms looks for a deeper connection between herself and the painting, using her art to tell stories of her life connections. Some of her achievements include the Barse Miller Award from the American Watercolor Society (AWS) in New York City, full signature memberships in both the Federation of Canadian Artists (SFCA) and the Society of Canadian Artists (SCA) in Ontario.
